Workplace First Aid & Basic Life Support
This course equips employees and supervisors with the skills to identify and manage early signs of workplace mental health conditions, including stress, anxiety, and depression. It covers symptoms, risk factors, preventive measures, and support strategies, emphasizing early detection, intervention, and seeking professional help when necessary. Key topics include understanding mental health, mental health continuum, mental hygiene, resilience building, and mental health first aid.
The course supports mental health resilience and equips staff to respond effectively to their own needs and those of others in the workplace.
Objectives:

This Workplace First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) equips employees with the critical skills to respond to medical emergencies effectively. Covering essential topics like casualty care, injury management, CPR, and AED usage, this course ensures participants are prepared to handle common workplace incidents confidently and safely. Participants will also learn about managing medical emergencies such as seizures, heart attacks, and allergic reactions, fostering a safe work culture.
The course supports health and safety objectives by equipping staff to meet standards effectively, while enhancing the workplace safety.
