It would not be an understatement to say that each one of us, as members of the school community, has been deeply rattled when cases of child sexual abuse in schools started hitting the media.
What can we, as individuals, schools, neighbourhoods, organisations and communities do, as a continuous response to this crisis and in preparation for a future that may have more such situations?
If you are part of a school, ask if all the support staff in the school have medical insurance for themselves and their families? Can an educational fund be created for the children of the support staff to avail scholarships?
