COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of children’s mental health and how to build resilience in them. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, comprehend, and offer initial support to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. The course will empower adults with the tools to sustain and strengthen a child’s mental wellbeing.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

The course, will explore various mental health conditions, including their signs, symptoms, and risk factors. It will delve into the importance of early detection and intervention and highlight the significance of seeking professional medical help when necessary. By the end of this course, the learner will have a solid understanding of different mental health disorders that affect children and adolescents, allowing them to recognize and respond effectively.
